2023 Master Björn Heerwagen recently participated the second edition of TEA Talks at Breda University of Applied Sciences in Holland. The annual gathering attracted over one hundred industry professionals and students, including from the university’s unique Attractions and Themed Park management course. This year’s topic, Emerging Industry Talent, focused on nourishing and developing industry talent at all career stages.

Björn also hosted a lively panel discussion among industry professionals George Lawton, Romee Popelier, Stefan van der Putten, Danielle Tanton (TEA Board Vice Chair). The conversation covered a wide range of career issues, including success and failure and challenges for women in the business.

"These events are always fun, and it’s great to connect with new upcoming talent,” noted Björn after the long day. “We need to ensure that as professionals we help make it clear that the industry is a tough one and it is only through dedication, passion and hard work that they can be successful in their careers.”
